Trustworthy field data, signed the moment it is captured.

The credibility of every ESG and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) claim depends on data gathered far from any office, often with no connectivity at all. Tendril is where that data is made trustworthy. It captures observations in the field across every modality, signs each one at the moment of capture with a verified identity, and holds it safely offline until it can be published.

What It Is

Verifiable ground truth, gathered at the source

Nature and impact data is only as trustworthy as the moment it was collected, yet most is typed up later, far from where it was gathered, with nothing to prove it.

Tendril is Druid's field data-capture layer, delivered as an Android field app a surveyor carries, built on a capture core (the Tendril SDK) that sensors and devices embed directly. It records observations across many modalities and signs each one at the edge.

The result is verifiable ground truth, chain-ready records that carry proof of who captured them, where, and when, from the first moment they exist.

Capabilities

What the capture layer delivers

Multi-Modal Field Capture

Surveys, audio, video, live translation, document scanning, geo-tagged photos, boundary mapping, and QR scanning, captured in one field workflow.

Offline-First by Design

Captures and stores locally with no connection, then syncs when connectivity returns, so a remote site never means lost or unverifiable data.

Signed at the Edge

Every record is signed at the moment of capture with a verified identity, so provenance holds from the source onward rather than being asserted later.

IoT and Sensor Data

Pulls device time-series into the field app at offline sites, or collects it directly on sensors that embed the capture core, covering connected and remote alike.

Consent on the Record

Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) is recorded as part of the submission, so the right to use what was gathered is captured alongside it.

Built for Austere Sites

Handles low-bandwidth and intermittent transport for remote, off-grid locations, so data gets through from places other systems cannot reach.

How It Works

From the field to the platform

1

Captured

A surveyor or sensor records the observation in the field, in any modality.

2

Signed

Each record is signed at the edge with a verified identity at capture.

3

Buffered

It is stored safely offline and held until connectivity returns.

4

Published

The signed record is sent to the Oracle for verification and recording.

One Core, Two Forms

A field app and the capture core beneath it

Tendril, the Field App

The Android companion a surveyor carries into the field, guiding multi-modal capture, consent, and offline sync through one workflow built for people working far from connectivity.

Tendril SDK, the Capture Core

The library the app is built on and that sensors, devices, and gateways embed directly, so the same signed, offline-first capture runs whether a person or a machine is doing the gathering.

In the Pipeline

Where Tendril sits

Torc

Issues the verified identity and key Tendril signs each capture with, so every field record traces back to a known, accountable party.

Oracle

Collects the signed records Tendril publishes and takes them forward to be certified and structured before they reach the ledger.

Ogham

The system of record where the verified data lands, holding what Tendril first captured in the field as an auditable entry.
