Funds
The Nimba Fund is Druid's flagship impact fund, investing worldwide in the projects that protect and grow natural carbon sinks, old-growth and secondary forests, their biodiversity, and the regeneration of land for sustainable agroforestry. Every project it backs is measured, verified, and reported on the platform, so the impact behind your capital is provable and the credits it produces are ones the market can trust.
What It Is
Nature-based carbon credits have a credibility problem. Too many are issued on unverifiable claims, count the same carbon twice, or simply push deforestation elsewhere.
The Nimba Fund is built to be different. It invests directly in conservation and land regeneration alongside global partners, and runs every project on Druid's platform, where impact is measured at the source, verified, and reported end to end.
The result is high-integrity carbon and biodiversity credits, backed by evidence rather than assertion, and an impact record any investor, auditor, or regulator can inspect.
Why Nimba
Every credit comes from measured, verified data and recognised standards like Verra and REDD+, so it stands for real, additional carbon removed.
Projects are monitored end to end, guarding against double-counting and displacement, so the carbon counted is genuinely kept out of the air.
Investment flows to communities, farmers, and indigenous groups who steward the land, so conservation lifts livelihoods rather than displacing them.
The Mandate
The core mandate, investing in projects that protect and grow natural carbon sinks and produce high-quality credits for the carbon markets.
Capital deployed alongside governments, landowners, indigenous groups, NGOs, universities, and conservation specialists who lead the work.
Investment in the digital tools and biotechnology that raise transparency, cut cost, and support the health of the forests the fund protects.
Aligned to the Global Goals
The fund's core contribution to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13, protecting and growing the natural carbon sinks that absorb global emissions.
Aligned to SDG 15, protecting old-growth and secondary forests and the biodiversity and wildlife they hold, and reversing land degradation.
Supporting the goals for no poverty, decent work, and global partnership by directing investment to the communities who steward the land.
